My research activities are coursework for a doctoral dissertation (Ph.D.) at The Center for Tropical Marine Ecology (ZMT), a research and training institution located in the University of Bremen, Germany and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) in the Republic of Panama.Here
I present the preliminary results from my studies conducted at the Liquid Jungle Lab (Bahia Honda station) between February and July 2003. The data have not yet been completely analysed, and therefore, constitute only a preliminary report. Fieldwork was conducted in the BahÌa Honda region, located in the Gulf of ChiriquÌ, Province of Veraguas, on the pacific coast of Panama (Glynn & Maté 1997).
