I present the preliminary results from my studies conducted at the Liquid Jungle Lab (Bahia Honda station) between February and July 2003. The data have not yet been completely analysed, and therefore, constitute only a preliminary report. Fieldwork was conducted in the BahÌa Honda region, located in the Gulf of ChiriquÌ, Province of Veraguas, on the pacific coast of Panama (Glynn & Maté 1997).
